And if Steph Curry comes in and Kurt Rambis is like, Hey, I want you to only take 20 foot mid ranges and you don't get to take all these threes.

Like, do you stunt a player's growth at an early age? Do you teach a puppy that, bad traits before it can become an adult and i think to cheryl's credit she let olivia be olivia in april may and june and that's why now come september she's the favorite of the second favorite to win mvp not rookie of the year that's done send that thing to mill clinic square she's a one of the two top people to be mvp and that testament to everyone in the organization but for cheryl to let her cook at an early age was really impressive

And yeah.

Maybe she had other plans or maybe now was the right time for her to jump in.

But she is someone who I thought has been a pretty consistent role player throughout her WNBA career I think someone who can bring great energy defensively um doesn't jump off the page certainly as a shooter or a three-point shooter but I always wonder about you know what kind of shots you're going to be able to get under this offense with Cheryl Reeve and what that might look like in terms of opportunity and the kind of shots you're going to be able to see and playing you know potentially alongside uh you know a great playmaker like the links have in Olivia miles or Courtney Williams, depending on how that rotation works out.

But certainly that backcourt depth, I think defensive energy and intensity is what she's going to be able to bring.

I think that's going to be, you know, someone who doesn't shy away from just toughness on that side of the ball.

Like there's still players that can't dribble with their offhand.

There's still players like Alyssa Thomas who like shoot one handed, like, push shots.

Like Courtney Williams is shooting more mid ranges than like threes and two and layups per game.

This game just got away from the Lynx.

The biggest piece of news coming into this was obviously Courtney Williams was out with that right ankle.

And the superstar is somebody who still has not won a title.

And, like, all of that happened, and there was still moments where, like, the Lynx get it to a seven-point game, and it's like, oh, gosh, they can hang with this team with everything going wrong.
