So in the past week, he has turned to a strategy where maybe he feels like he can notch some wins, and that is launching economic warfare.

The first is Iran, a war that he has struggled to finish and a war that's been going on for six months now.

Now the president has vowed to strangle and isolate Iran's economy through new sanctions, calling it a, quote, economic D-Day.
Our objective is to sever every economic lifeline that sustains this tyrannical regime until Tehran stands alone.

The president's second front in this economic warfare is against our northern neighbor, Canada.

The president wanted to even trade between us and them, but after talks recently broke down, we're in quite a tariff war.
