Episode 512 - Differences/Similarities with The Sun in the 4th in Leo and 5th in Cancer

Now today I want to just demonstrate the differences between having, uh, certain planets in certain houses.

Now, there's millions of different house systems.

I don't care which one you choose.

The one I teach is equal house.

The other ones are major ones, a whole sign, and the third one is Placidus.

The majority of computer programs, p- computer programs are, uh, Placidus.

Um, more modern ones might be whole sign, and I use equal house, which is one of the older systems of dividing the chart up.

And because it's called equal house, each of the houses are of equal size.

So each house is exactly 30 degrees in size.

Okay? Now, what we're looking at today are two completely different people.

So I've used my little friends at astro.com and their search tool to find them, and one is called Louise, the other's called Jason.

Totally different lives, which we're gonna talk about.

But what I was looking for was that I wanted to demonstrate the differences between when planets land in different houses, how do those planets get modified by the house that they're in? So these are two completely different signs of the zodiac that we're looking at.

We're looking at a Sun sign Leo, and we're looking at a Sun sign Cancer.

I'm not taking the Moons into account, I'm just looking at the Sun.

But we're looking at the Sun in the 4th, which is the house of the Moon and the sign Cancer, and a Sun in the 5th in the sign of Cancer.

Okay, so we've got Sun in Leo in the 4th, and then we've got Sun in Cancer in the 5th.

So those are completely different houses, completely different signs, one of which the Sun rules the sign Leo and the Moon rules Cancer, but we're looking at the Sun signs.

So we have two people.

One was born in 1978, one was born in 1974.

The 1974 person is male, the 1978 person is female.

We're gonna do a little bit of transits of specific dates of things that happened to them.

But we're gonna be looking at how is that planet modified because it's in a different house, because the Sun can be in any one of the 12 houses of your chart, yeah, and can be in any sign.

And that is the most difficult thing to get your head around when you first start learning astrology.

But hopefully, at the end of this episode, you will have understand the differences between having the Sun, and a little bit of Moon, having the Sun in a different house and how it might manifest.
