Lax Class 397 - Dawson J Nielsen

We are gonna have our Goalie Factory Goalie of the Week, of course.

Uh, check in with the rest of summer lacrosse, and no shortage of, uh, things to talk about when it comes to all the leagues around Canada here, and, uh, trade deadlines.

So there's a couple left that are approaching, but a couple have passed by as well, and man, oh, man, uh, there's been some action.

Surprising to lose.

There's been some action.

Surprising to lose.

I'll just say that.

[laughs] Uh, so lots to chit-chat about, but, uh, first and foremost, how was the week? How'd the boys do this week? What's going on back in Six Nations?

It's been slow for the boys.

They...

We had a game, my youngest, Maddox, had a game last night against Niagara, Jay Thornburg's son, Owen, and we shut them down, so good for them.

Now we're just kind of in a holding pattern, waiting to see if they advance on to the A Qualifiers or if we go to the B Provincials.

So we're just kinda sit and wait, so s- maybe at some point through this podcast we'll find out, and I might-

Oh

...

I might be mad, or I might be-

So wait, how does that work? Like, how does that work? Like, you just get an email saying, "Hey, you made it," or you get an email saying you didn't make it? Like, what, what's the-

They'll, so I, I-

... what's the criteria here? How do they decide that?

They have a, they have a ranking system.

They have, like, MyLax rankings, and they...

I don't know how they really do it, but it's kind of...

It, it, it's good in a sense, but it also lacks some, lacks some, uh, scenarios in a sense.

They have some teams that shouldn't be up, up high based on them playing lower category teams.

But they'll just, I think they just post it on social media if you're in or not.
