Imagine you leave your home in the morning as a, say, a day laborer who's seeking a better life for your family, and maybe you traveled thousands of miles to get here.
So I think it's an absolutely uncertain and ultimately, uh, terrifying way to live.
Um, and many of our neighbors and the people who you see on the streets, you know, they're doing their best to hold it together, but they are suffering inside, so remember to be kind.

And of course, uh, Trump has set a precedent in terms of his willingness to shoot civilians at close range to attack cars.
And, you know, his first term, um, there was a family separation policy where they were separating children from their, uh, mothers and fathers, and many of them, thousands actually, you know, they were never able to, uh, reconnect these families.
And so, um, it's not surprising to me that this level of inhumanity and callousness, and it's, uh, completely anti-Christian.
Um, it's not the spirit of welcome the stranger and look out for the people who, um, are considered foreigners in these lands.
And for, uh, many Latinos, especially Mexican Americans, we have to remember that, uh, large parts of California were, um, you know, before the California Republic, were part of Mexico.
And so there's been some families here that have been here in California, in Sonoma County, um, before it was Mexico, while it was Mexico, after it was the California Republic, and then after it's the state of California.
