It's a great question.

I think it, it's pretty clear from the scriptures that it does.

Uh, I think it would really take a lot of, uh, gymnastics mentally to, to disalign, um, uh, Israel out of the biblical, uh, picture that's talked about, that the modern state is essentially the, uh, regathering of the nations that was talked about in the Tanakh, in the Ol-- in the Old Covenant.

Uh, the same, uh, people have, uh, descended over m- uh, m- uh, millennia, uh, to the same Jewish people that we're talking about today.

So there's no detachment of the Jewish people today, whether they be in the diaspora or in Israel, uh, that this is clearly the Jewish people, the people of Israel that was talked about in the scriptures, uh, that was from-- that was the promise, uh, was given to the land, um, and the promises of, uh, blessing those who bless you was to Abraham, but not only, uh, uh, the Abrahamic people, so to speak, but to then on to Isaac and to Jacob.

And so clearly God is pointing to the Jewish people, uh, that are-- were then and now called Israel.

Uh, the same DNA and, and the same peoplehood.

Uh, um, I do believe, of course, as a new covenant believer, uh, in the, uh, the, the scriptures and the fulfillment of Yeshua as the Jewish, uh, Messiah.

It doesn't negate, of course, the Jewish people as still being, uh, on a physical level, the chosen people of God.

And so God has regathered us as he talked about in his scriptures, never to be, uh, scattered again.

And we have seen the miraculous hand of God throughout the last hundred and fifty years, bringing the people back in waves of Aliyah, and then ultimately to start a nation which, uh, by all means should have been wiped out many, many, uh, times ago in various wars over the last eighty years.

But God sustained us.

And so I see it as a direct, uh, correlation between the God of the Bible blessing the Jewish people called Israel back in the land of Israel then, uh, to the same Jewish people, and blessing God, uh, God blessing our people this, this, this generation as well.

Yeah.

I am with you on that.

And, uh, you know what, what is always amazing to me is that, is that our detractors, uh, seem to be very good at mental gymnastics and twisting, twisting words and, and, you know, all of these things.

It's, it's frustrating sometimes, uh, even talking to other Christians about this who say that, you know, God has no plans for, for Israel any longer, that the church has replaced Israel.

All of these very, very detrimental, uh, ideas that, um, go against what the scripture teaches us.

And so, um, I'm, I'm on the same page, and I just wanted to sort of air that for people listening because You know, you maybe you've heard some of these arguments, but what is so important for us to understand is that we cannot, I cannot, uh, you know, put words in God's mouth.

We only have the scriptures that He gave us, and for us to, to try and twist those things somehow to, to make them say something that, that they're not, uh, I think is, is very dangerous.

But, um-

I don't know why, I don't know why I went on that little bit of a rant, uh, Evan, but, uh, um, I just-- we deal with this in and out every day, all the time.

And so I want people to understand that, uh, we want to speak truth.
