Lisa DurdenGuestWell, for more reaction to Guilfoyle's resignation and what we just heard from Eric Deters, let's bring in Kira Davis, host of The Orange Report, and John McCarthy, former senior advisor to President Joe Biden.

Well, I don't know that he was the most compelling messenger in terms of not profiting off it himself.

You know, if you look at the political context for this, we're obviously three weeks away from the election.

And next to the issue of affordability, the thing that we hear over and over and over again from campaigns that keeps coming up as the most highly spent on issue is this issue of corruption.

We just saw an Associated Press poll that said 60 percent of Americans believe that the president is either illegally or unethically profiting off of the administration.

These are not questions the White House wants to be asking, you know, three weeks out from an election day.

So I think this is going to be just a big political vulnerability for the president.
There are allegations that the ambassador was asking for additional money from other people to pay for her cars and for other bills.
And we are just trying to get to the bottom of why, at this point, Eric Deters would be so interested in getting this doctor back.
And as we saw in the interview, he stood to benefit financially as well from the situation.
