It's a very weird game to discuss here, Zach, because at times it felt like this was going to be a blowout.

But here's my main takeaway from this game, and I'm curious if you feel the same way.

And then we're going to get to Mike, who's really going to go into the nitty-gritty of the current state of this offense, man.

The Jets, in my opinion, 110% absolutely are a more talented team and heading in the right direction in the talent department from where they have been in my most recent years of covering them.

And that loops in when Joe Douglas had the really great first round of Jermaine and Garrett and Sauce and then looped back around and got Brees as well.

All of those years where you think the talent's real, this is probably the first time where I truly, genuinely believe that the Jets' talent is legit.

They are not at a point where they can go toe-to-toe with the premier elite teams in this league and beat them.

That's why we saw them take down the Tennessee Titans and we saw them beat the Cleveland Browns.

In order for them to win those games, They need to be put at a tactical, schematical advantage.

They need to have the step up based off of the coaching and the staff that they have on the sideline.

And if I'm being completely and totally transparent with you here, Zach, based off of everything that I've seen from this season to this point, I really question why.

And you can look towards the offense, which we're going to get into with Mike, which has absolutely no creativity.

There's the defense, where this is an opportunity to take advantage of a quarterback who came in tied for the league league in interceptions with unorthodox blitz concepts because you know you really don't have anything outside David Bailey to get home and torment an offensive line that's decimated by injuries.
