The Yankees Offense Is Horrible (Stating The Obvious)

Let's get into Yankees baseball, and let's talk about what's going on with this team.

We did make a trade today.

I'm sure there are more to come.

I hope there are more to come.

We addressed absolutely nothing today.

with the trade, picking up Luis Garcia Jr. from the Nats.

Made a trade.

I'm not sure who we got rid of in the deal, but he's a first baseman for the Nationals, but has played second base for most of his career.

He is a decent offensive player.

I don't know.

Whatever.

It's not a bad trade, considering I don't think we gave up a lot, because the early reports on it aren't saying we really sold the farm on this trade, which I really hope we did not, but we did acquire Luis Garcia Jr. from the Nationals.

So hopefully that pans out.

He's a left-handed hitter, which is wild.

We don't need left-handed bats, but here we are.

And he plays first base.

And like I said, I do want to go back and say that he has played second base most of his career.

He's playing first base this year.

I know there's a lot of talk.

I saw when the trade happened, like he can play second.

And, you know, obviously we have Jazz Chisholm Jr. there.

And, you know, they could move Jazz the third.

It's highly unlikely.

Jazz has already come out and say he prefers to play second base second.

However, what doesn't seem to be getting mentioned is that we don't know, because Jazz is going into a free agency year, we don't know if the Yankees are going to deal him.
