I was just revving up, and I realized that in Las Vegas, we have trouble because of the dryness, the driest temperatures imaginable, unless you're in Death Valley, but who wants to go there? Anyway, when I was growing up in Las Vegas, and people would come to perform here, they complained about Vegas throat, and I was like, "What a bunch of wimpies.
How can that happen? Well, one of the things that we do know is I, your hostess, Betsey Bell, have never seemed to be short on words to speak to you to send you the message.
It's the hearing, and it's called selective hearing because there are certain things we do not want to hear.
But the problem with that is I've never figured out what the mind inside your head siphons out that you did not wanna know, and what is it that triggers you by hearing it that causes you to do that? Well, one will never know, and we're not exploring how things happen because we know they just do.
What we're going to explore is how you respond to what happens, and that's what selective hearing is all about.
Now, on Wednesday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has fiercely defended his country's military campaigns in Iran, Gaza, and elsewhere in the Middle East.
So the General Assembly is assembled as united as nations of the world respecting the ideas of other nations of the world.
Well, that's what you think, but it isn't your selective hearing that's causing you to miss the message.
Dozens of delegates walked out in protest as Netanyahu took the stage, and he vowed to keep fighting.
But who is he fighting for? Not only Israel, but he is fighting for the rest of the world.
And how can I say that? Because I've been listening to everyone's message, and Iran has not delivered any message to any people in any part of the world that they care about the rights of any other people in the world.
Because the religion they practice and everything they practice, Sharia law, is definitely nothing to do with freedom.
You can freely choose to be Muslim, and I applaud you if you find something endearing about just annihilating anyone who doesn't believe what you do.
Does that bring to mind, my listeners, the lovely Democrat Party? Sorry about that.
