I'm gonna ask Allison to more formally introduce herself in a bit, but we start.

So this episode is, uh, is being released on July 31st, and so we start with, on a heavy note.

I need to, um... my former business partner and friend, Jack Gosselin, uh, passed away just yesterday, so that was July.

We're recording on July 16th, and it is only fitting, um, that I talk about it here on the Healthcare Facilities Network.

I first met Jack, John Crowley, thank you for making that introduction, but I first met Jack in 2013, and I think the reason we got along so well and we had such a great partnership was that Jack loved to talk, and I love to listen.

And I have so many, you know, so many stories, so many memories of Jack over the years, from Jack's idiosyncrasies at airports.

His love of Reubens, his love of The Rolling Stones, his love of Joe Castiglione and the Red Sox, his love of trains.

His love of his family, his wife, Steph, his sons, Ian, and his son, Alex, and, and his grandchildren.

And so rather than drone on and on about what a great guy Jack was, and he was, and all the things Jack liked, I think one story is instructive, um, or to who Jack was.

It was just always him and I and handshakes, and sometimes we'd go backwards, and sometimes we'd go forwards, but he was always an honest broker.

And there's few people that you could literally trust to keep to their word and do what they would say, and you still come out on the other end saying, "You know what? That was a success." And so I, I'll stop there.
