Will Montreal Live Up To The Expectations This Season?

The Canadians are undefeated.

3-0 in the first five games of the preseason.

The Canadians played two games against the Leafs at the exact same time on Saturday night, this past Saturday, Saturday, September 19th.

And the Canadians A team at home beat the Leafs B team.

And then the Canadiens B team on the road took care of the Leafs A team.

So you love to see that.

And then just yesterday, or no, now we're Wednesday.

So sorry, two nights ago, Monday, September 21st, the Canadiens beat the Ottawa Senators in the Kraft Hockeyville game there in Trois-Rivières.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

And they took care of Ottawa by a score of 3-2 in overtime, thanks to no other than...

Mr. Monday night, I guess in this case, but usually Mr. Saturday night who has a knack for scoring overtime goals.

And he clearly showed that once again, whether it's the preseason or the regular season, Liam, it just does not matter.

It doesn't matter at all.

And you know, what's funny is so many people texted me like, are you scared that the Canadians keep going to overtime? It was kind of the trend last season too, but honestly it's entertaining and the Habs win in overtime.

There's no reason why they should lose in overtime.

They have the, pretty much always the best three players on the ice, whether they're playing, you know, any team in the Atlantic, any team in the Metro, the only team I could maybe say is Colorado or Edmonton, but we play them twice a year.

So I enjoy the overtime.

I think getting the two points is obviously the biggest, you know, thing they need to focus on, but Cole Caulfield does it once again.

And I will say my quick thoughts of those two games against Toronto is The Canadian so-and-so B team, they played really, really well.
