Doc DiskHostoh so uh dick when it comes to record collecting or collecting music in general was there one album back in the day that really started off like pre-career and everything for you was there an album where you went like holy i love music i want to buy more of these

i've got i've got to say um and i know it's a lot for a lot of people but And it's kind of a horrible thing to say anymore, but that fucking Kiss Alive record, man.
one.
It's so good.

Oh, when you're a kid, you know, I try to, because I have a lot of friends, like these kids who are like in their 30s and 20s and shit, right? That we'll play shows with.

it's kind of like that when you bring up the sex pistols with people too now it's like it's like you don't know what the it was i you know i'm a little longer in the tooth than you guys but you don't know what the it was like back then there was nothing going on nothing i mean people today so spoiled and that sounds like the old man but there was nothing going on nothing
It is.
It's amazing, actually, how many people have mentioned not just Kiss in general, obviously, for starting off their wanting to collect records, but that album specifically.
And it was I think the accessibility of that album was something that was monumental at the time, too, because it was everywhere in a sense, like obviously not in the sense that you just said that they have access.
Kids have access to everything now, but you could get that record.
You could get your hands on it and it could change your life, which is amazing.

kiss was awesome for 18 months and then i was out it was like the first three albums kiss alive i'm done i'm done i didn't do anything after that it's like i'm done i'm done
uh we interviewed a mutual friend last week mike squires oh yeah i love the day and uh he also mentioned kiss and when when i said like oh yeah you know i still love creatures of the night he just was silent with no response you just told me without telling me that you you're upset that i even said that

It's a shameful thing now, if I can even say it, you know what I mean? It's like Ted Nugent, right? That first solo album with Stranglehold and all that shit was awesome.
Yeah, that's a good point, though.
It's like...
