Evan Longoria joins Russ and Josh Donaldson for a World Series Breakdown! - GIDL Ep. 23

I'm old enough to remember the narrative that the Dodgers are ruining baseball.

The Dodgers have ruined all competitive balance in baseball.

And now here are the Brewers' 19th in payroll.

The Rays at the bottom of the payroll structure playing in a full classic.

I mean, if you're a fan of baseball, J.D., This is a series.

This is a real series.

I'm excited about this series.

You got two teams that play an exciting brand of baseball, very well put together.

You're going to see some great pitching.

You're going to see some great defense.

And I think whoever comes out on top is going to have the timely hitting, obviously, of course.

To me, I really like the Brewers in this series.

But what do you think, Russ?

I mean, I think the same thing.

I think we got two teams that play the game the right way.

You know, they play some small ball.

They got good pitching.

They got good defense.

If you like baseball, like you said, you're going to love this series.

And I didn't think about that, Arash, but like it's the franchises.

Somebody's going to win their first World Series.

Yeah.

Which is – that's pretty damn cool for – for whichever fan base that ends up winning.

Yeah, it's going to be awesome, man.

I'm looking forward to it.
