For BY Grace Are Ye Saved - Sunday Morning Service - October 25,2026

You know, this is in three verses here in the passage we read, verse 5, verse 7, and in verse 8.

For by grace ye are saved.

Then it says that...

Talks about the exceeding riches of His grace toward us and His kindness.

Then it says again, for by grace are you saved.

Now remember, repetition is the key to learning.

When the Lord repeats something, it is for emphasis.

He really wants us to pay close attention to this.

Now, we live in the last days, and Satan is very, very cunning.

I've noticed since I've been saved, you know, I got saved in 1982, over 40 years ago.

And even back then, there was beginning to be a misunderstanding about the grace of God and a misdefinition of the grace of God.

And many people were beginning to abuse the grace of God.

And so we want to look at this to make sure we have a good, sound understanding of this doctrine.

Now, you wouldn't think it would be controversial But it is.

And the main reason is this doctrine, as so many, has a dispensational significance.

A dispensation is a time period in which God, by his sovereign providence, he chose to deal with humanity under a certain covenant.

So, for instance, in the Old Testament, under the law of Moses, God dealt with the Jews.

strictly through the law.

And you live by the law and you died by the law.

And Israel said, these things will be our righteousness.

And there was a curse of sin and death under the law.

The Bible says in John that the law came by Moses.

But we don't live in that dispensation, praise the Lord.

We live in what is called the dispensation of grace, which is the church age.

This is the time in which we live.
