Um, the first thing I'm gonna say, the record books will show 25-26 Premier League champions are Arsenal, and nobody will give a fuck, particularly Arsenal fans, about how they won it.
They are the champions.
That is it.
Over a 38-game season, their name is on the trophy.
Nobody else's.
Nothing that any of us can say about how they won it, about the fact that the old PGO, PGMOL are in their pocket, all that, none of that matters.
Fair play to them.
Had their parade at the weekend.
Fair play to them.
Um, absolutely, I've got no issue with that whatsoever.
Take it on the chin.
I do have a difference of opinion about this Arsenal side being a fucking great side, and I fell completely for it.
I'm gonna be honest.
I just fell for it.
I thought, "Yep, they're a really good team.
Fucking hell, who's gonna beat them over the next few years?" Um, f- I bought it hook, line, and sinker.
And then, of course, Sunday, Saturday night, we all got spared, didn't we? We all got spared.
And don't get me wrong, there's some, there's some good Arsenal fans.
Andy Richmond's a perfectly reasonable Arsenal fan.
I can have conversations with Andy, um, about this sort of stuff, and, uh, he's very fair.
Some of the others, though, slightly fucking lunatics.
Slight fucking lunatics.
