Uh, Spooney, it's, look, there's a bit of a slow drip of news in the NBA calendar.

But if you are on the Patreon, you saw me crack open a packet of basketball cards from the '24, '25, like, Cooper Flagg rookie class, and I personally had a great time.

Steven from the Discord obviously was the one live viewer at that time, and the cards were terrible for the first half, and then all of a sudden it was Jokic, Melo, D.

I have no idea if any of them are worth any money, but, um, it was just a good time.

So jump into that, and I think there's probably gonna be some drunk opening of basketball cards, um, or sober, in, uh, Boston, which I'm looking forward to doing with the fellas.

But Jason Tatum and Drew Hanlen posted a video, um, of Jason Tatum doing some workouts, and there's been a pretty consistent theme over the past kind of, uh, during this off-season when it comes to Tatum's off-season workouts, and it's a lot of, like, short mid-range stuff.

We've got the video playing here on YouTube, and if he's able to improve anything in his game, that would be awesome, but that is definitely a weakness of his game, is the short mid-range and the mid-range in general, at least relative, um, to how good he is at everything else.

Uh, pretty much, like, high 30% mid-range guy, and that is true of all mid-range, long mid-range, short mid-range.

So I think asking him to be e- elite in that range is probably unlucky, unlikely, but there's one play right at the end that I really like.

Drive to his, uh, yep, to the middle, gets to two feet, pump fakes, and then comes to the kinda left and finishes, like, a floating jumper a la Jima- Jimmy Butler.

That range, Spooney, would really, I think, kinda round out his offensive game.

Yeah, so, um, his last full season, so '24, '25 season, in the regular season, 38% from 10 to 14 feet, and 36 and a half percent from 15 to 19 feet.

So you're, you're absolutely right to the extent he has an inefficient range, and from five to nine feet, 47.4%, which isn't terrible, but it's not good.

Um, so he is, you know, to the extent he has a, a, a range in which he's pretty inefficient, that's it.

Look, I want Tatum getting all the way to the rim, or if he's not able to, if he drives and he gets cut off around that range, I want him to look past first.
