No- it's no longer an inefficiency, new ef- inefficiencies emerge, and I think we're starting to see that with the way the Thunder in particular play.

You see SGA taking a lot of pretty wide open mid-range shots [chuckles] in large part because of this response to how much the league has shifted over towards, in some ways, like worshiping the three-point shot.

Um, and so that, that's really interesting.

And then I, I think when you kind of combine that with the way that the Thunder in particular are run and the Dodgers in particular are run, they are very cognizant of trying to create a vibe in the clubhouse, trying to create a place that's fun to work at, uh, given the, you know, extreme circumstances that come with being a professional athlete, having just media in your face in, in the locker room.

He just never took it with Houston, and I think that hurt his efficiency back in his prime years come playoff time, 'cause teams knew it's a layup, a kick-out pass, or he's stepping back to three-point range.

He's not taking an elbow jumper.

And teams nowadays, I think you are seeing some of the best in the league, Brunson this year winning the finals, last year, the Thunder, SGA, they take that shot when it's there because it, the mid-range because, becomes a super efficient shot.

[laughs] It becomes an analytically smart shot to take because of the way defenders are playing.
