And the Cleveland Cavaliers have won three games in a row, two of which they overcome double-digit deficits at halftime.

Tonight, they beat the Washington Wizards, a team that I think we both agree is kind of a scrappy, young, fun team with a couple talented veterans leading the way.

And today, we have to go over some film from Malik Thomas' debut.

This is a kid who's only played one NBA game, by the way.

Speaking like this already, Donovan Mitchell says, after the game said it's very rare that a team especially like the Cavs will ride the coattails of a rookie going into the half but for him to be the spark it's not normal he made the most of his moment he's fearless all of this stuff I think we can see just through what he said and so with all of that said I think we should go ahead and get into the film review now and we're going to break down some of his highlights from his rookie uh from his debut here and we're going to talk about his defense we're going to talk about some of the shot making if you're listening on Apple or Spotify I know that you're not going to be able to see the clips on screen, but I do plan on uploading this to audio platforms.

I'll do my best to explain what's happening, but I would encourage you go over to YouTube, go over to Tony Pesta on YouTube, watch these films for yourself.

And the last thing I'll say before we get started, you already know the drill.

And the Cleveland Cavaliers, the absolute madmen, they almost did it again.

They said, if you enjoy blowing 20-point leads, then you've come to the right place for the season opener, or the home opener.

And today I have five things that the Cavs need to do better against the Brooklyn Nets in their home opener if they want to get back on track and make up for what was a pretty horrible loss against the Sixers, right? It was very much a tale of two halves.

Yeah, that's going to be brutal.

Shout out to Tony Pesta from Fear the Sword.

Great Cavs content creator.

Give him a follow.
