We had, we ended the 2016 story line.
Uh, we discussed it a little bit, but I've made the point that we've been getting little tidbits of the greater universe as it pertains to the characters and the lore of the show.
Um, so I, I, I really enjoyed that.
Um, it definitely slows down a bit as you kinda start over with these developed, grown, uh, versions of these characters that we've grown to know from 2016.
Um, so that part was a little bit of a bummer 'cause you're just gonna have to pick your momentum back up from scratch.
But I enjoyed it.
Definitely a pivot.
[clears throat] It's definitely a pivot.
Lail.
Um, the first thing that struck me about this episode was that I felt like this was John Stewart's version of Beat It, Chick.
[laughs]
You know what I'm saying?
The meme?
Yeah, like the meme where, like, he g- he, at first he was the little, little nigga saying, "Oh my gosh, I wish you would like me," and now he's the Beat It, Chick.
And like, that, that's what this felt like with me.
When he told, when he said, when he looked at his brother and said, "Nick." [laughs]
[laughs]
When he, when he pulled that out I said, I said, "Ah, he's shielding himself a little bit.
Like he's r- he's really on his bag right now." But, um, there was a lot of interesting things about this episode.
Dare I say it may have been, and, and I don't know, it could play into how much I, uh, just like the outside things going into this episode.
I was tired.
It, maybe it was like my least favorite so far.
