But then like, you know, as I got older, I started hearing things about, you know, certain people in history.

Then I kind of had to do like research on my own and, you know, find out all these things like, you know, like the same way people didn't know about, um, the, uh, the female, uh, uh, mathematicians that helped us get to the moon until hidden figures came out or how people didn't know about, uh, Black Wall Street until Watchmen it's one of those things where it wasn't until I was older that I kind of caught up to all these amazing things and I was like oh wow I really just no one taught me anything they don't really teach any of these things

But you are, it's funny because you have a show called SNL Nerds where you like, you know, recap like new episodes of the show and talk about the history of the creator, Laura Michaels, as well as actors and such, especially Eddie Murphy, who like, you know, made their name on SNL and stuff like that.

So you are like a... like an expert on comedy, only SNL history.

I know little about Green Lantern and my wife knows nothing, but we're enjoying it.

Having watched Watchmen recently, it's interesting to see some similarities in the setting and approach as Lindelof was heavily involved in both.

this was a great episode

of silo so much stuff to talk about in both storylines silo 18 i had a little trouble at times knowing who was doing things to be tricky like knox and shirley leading the group to filtration and who was playing everything straight camille yeah and that's what i was saying earlier and i thought it was just masterfully done whoever probably walker but I'm amazed they got us rooting for Sims and especially Bernard.

It's definitely, and you can tell, well, at least for me, the influence of Damon Lindelof, because this is, in a way, it's actually set up similar to the Watchmen series in terms of like, well, in terms of information becoming available later, the

information.

Because I've never seen Watchmen, and a lot of people say it's great,

but everything that I

before we did get deep into it i want to piggyback off something aaron said which was talking about the placement of episode three because i saw a lot of people in like in the comments and stuff uh of being like this should have been episode one and i could not disagree with that more no that is that would not be good pacing um you're throwing people into um uh something an idea of what the show is um in a different way then i think that the the pacing of this so far and how they've been revealing information is really smart writing Uh, so, um, just, uh, but I do agree if Aaron, if what Aaron said, if they had thrown episode three, episode seven, no, that wouldn't have been that they're doing it the right way.

I also think, look at Watchmen as kind of like an example of that, like the flashback episode of Watchmen, you had to already establish the world and then have the flashback kind of give you new meaning to that world.

So it's kind of like unsurprising in the grand scheme of things, like just because it's chronologically where we could have gone first, doesn't mean that that actually makes sense from the narrative.
