Those guys must have had a ball just drinking whiskey or something in the writer's room and just doing this.

Lindelof, Tom King, and I forget the other person.

I love it.

But this this episode was impressive.

Um, so Kaimander is such a natural, such a natural fit.

And I think as well with like Tom King's treatment of him, of making him both like a tragic character, but also a very comedic character.

And then that kind of carried over into the Harley Quinn animated series.

It was like a very, it was like a very easy thing of like, oh, Kite Man would easily fit into this.

And then there's the other male element of it of like, trying to let kids in on adult jokes in a safe way.

And by that, I mean, like, obviously in the Tom King thing, he's saying like, hell yeah, you can't say that in a kid's comic.

So that says, heck yeah.

But it's like, I want kids to feel like they're in on the joke and that they get to enjoy the joke of this character as well.

please, please, please, please.

I need that fucking Tom King Supergirl commercial that comes on YouTube every video.

I I like Supergirl a lot.

The more I hear Tom King talk about it, the more I am like, God, man.

There's a book about Batman coming out called Ages of Batman, where I write about the Tom King era Batman in it.

And I make a comparison, and not a very good one, frankly, of Bruce Wayne.

Now, I think it was either, I think you and I talked about this, Neil, on the phone the other day.

Tom King has a habit of, he's very good at modernizing things.

Yeah, the attention to detail, just truly wild.

Pick this one up.

A couple of weeks ago, we were talking about Tom King in the gang hang and some things were said and some of it I agree with.

Some of those things may have been a little strong, but moral of the story is sometimes we love him.

Uh, But, but yeah, so I mean, that's, it's predominant theme is that.

So a lot of the other stuff about like that Tom King was actually writing into that book isn't really there.

By the way, listener, if you haven't read it, read it.

It's one of the best comic book stories that has come out of like the last, I don't know when it came out.

fucking listen i have to stop it for a second phenomenal i love superhero stuff there's something when it's it's almost grounded in in sort of like i don't want to say reality because it's not reality but sort of it makes it feel like it's real like the physics of the show actually work and stuff like that to actually see how jordan gets shot because he's acting like a dick and the ring doesn't automatically protect him yeah it has to be concentrated on yeah sorry i went off on a tangent but oh no it's really well written just and fucking what's his name uh what's the the main actor's name
