More Models, More Magic: Catching Up with Visual Effects Wizard Chris Thompson

Mr. Chris Thompson, back on the podcast.

How are you doing, sir?

I'm doing great.

Thanks for having me

back.

You look well.

You look like you're not stressed under the weight of a thousand model and VFX shots.

I see you're a busy man still,

though.

I was just looking at my front-facing camera and being like, oh no, I need to moisturise.

No, you are actually catching me at a relatively quiet phase.

I can think of the last time I may have been in the middle of... something.

But I do remember giving you a little tour around my apartment.

So that that probably places between March and May, I think.

But yeah, no, things are things are going really well right now.

I've been able to have a little bit of a break, which is good.

Okay, nice.

I think when we spoke last time, yes, you did give me the tour of...

Oh, that was so good.

And I must say, when I've...

Especially like, not just Blake7, but at Doctor Who events at Riverside or the BFI, and people have asked me about the interview that I did with you, they're extremely jealous because...

At the time, you were showing me some models and not just Blake Seven, but Thunderbirds and some Gerry Anderson stuff and some Doctor Who.

And obviously I couldn't show anyone because this is an audio podcast.

So everybody was like, oh my God, you got like an insight into Chris's like sanctum.

It was just, yeah, we had so many people who were like, oh, you're so lucky.
