Hour 2: Backs Coming Back

This is a game we call Three Tough Questions.

Let's begin right here.

Tough question number one.

Going forward, will Jordan Mason mostly receive grades of A, B, C, or a bench grade on this show? We begin with Scott Fish.

Okay, I'm going to make it pretty short and sweet here.

I think Aaron Jones has been playing hurt.

I think they're going to want to protect him a little bit for a possible playoff push, and Jordan Mason will be fully healthy.

He's practiced in full all week.

The Vikings run at a very high run rate.

Mason's metrics when he's out there are good.

They have the fourth easiest rest of season schedule with four positive matchups, five neutral, and just two negative game schedule for running backs.

I'm going to go with B, but he's going to get some A's mixed in.

All right, Brian, going forward on this show, will Jordan Mason mostly receive grades of A, B, C, or bench?

I don't have much to add to what Scott said.

I will add, though, Mason coming back from injury, most people are worried about the conditioning and how much work he'll get.

It was a thumb injury, so he's been running.

It's not like he's been nursing a knee injury or a sprained ankle.

I'm sure he's going to be good to go.

He's going to be slotted right in.

to the early down work and the goal line work and a team that's going to run the ball behind a great offense.

That's how they're going to make their hay.

So I'm, I'm, I'm at B as well for Mason.

Fair warning.

I'm the Sergeant at arms of the Jordan Mason fan club, as you guys all know, you know, of the, I went back and looked at Jordan Mason since coming to Minnesota two years of the 52 qualified running backs to play over the last two years.

Here's Jordan Mason's rank in several key metrics.
