With one of the highest scoring opening weeks of the season in NFL history, Week 1 is in the books and it did not disappoint! Fantasy Flex is back to dive into the waiver wire and highlight those…
Sean KoernerGuestI was thoroughly entertained, except for the fact that I started Drake May in my home league, so we'll ignore that and move on to quarterback.
uh today we're gonna go position by position to see who's still available in most leagues and like obviously who you want to keep an eye on on the waiver wire so let's start at quarterback you know i started drake me in my home league that didn't go so well but uh yeah i wish i started this guy who i was high on instead uh we're gonna go position by position to see who's still available in most leagues that you might want to keep an eye on so at quarterback tyler shuck's gonna be my pickup He was top five for me last week.
I actually just dropped him to six after the episode because I got a little trepidatious.
A lot of comments were saying Shuck wasn't the guy for the week, but I think he had, you know, some major upside against the Lions.
It didn't really start so hot and actually started pretty terrible through two picks.
Just didn't look like he was even going to hit double digits, but he's available in 59% of leagues.
But, you know, it looks like he has some pretty good rapport with obviously Chris Olave, Devon Vele from last year carried over.
So I think him having some weapons, again, not my favorite stream this week, but he's a waiver wire guy at quarterback that like can definitely be a spot starter throughout the season.
And if your starting quarterback goes down, if your starting quarterback was Kyler Murray, for some reason, Tyler Shuck is a very good replacement off the waiver wire.

But this is a good bounce-back spot because we just saw Trevor Lawrence carve up this Browns defense, mostly in the first half, and then they were just able to sit on the ball in the second half.

Hopefully, you just drafted Trevor Lawrence, and you don't even have to worry about streaming.
