Jake Hager has undergone a second eye surgery following his very scary power slap injury last month.

It was so bad that he had to undergo emergency surgery on his eye after that fight.

Dana White said at the time that it was the most gruesome injury he had ever seen in power slap or the UFC.

Now, I know that Dave Meltzer had earlier reported that Hager was starting to slowly get some sight back in his eye, but that more surgeries may be necessary.

The report says that Hager has been attending weekly follow-up appointments after his initial surgery, and the detached retina was confirmed after the blood in his eye began to clear and the doctors could get a better picture of the damage.

They said, as the blood in Jake Hager's eye began to clear, doctors discovered in his weekly follow-up that his retina was detached.

He underwent urgent surgery to reattach it, which doctors said went better than expected.
