We preview and predict all the matches currently announced for AEW Double or Nothing!
So we have Stadium Stampede, which is, uh, Team Jericho, which is Jericho, Jack Perry, The Elite, and the Hurt Syndicate, and they're versing The Demand, uh, The Dogs, and Davis and Andrade from, uh, the Don Callis Family.
What do you think of them making, like, a seven-on-seven? Like, that's a huge match.
Like, usually it's, like, four on four or five on five.
Yeah.
What do you think of them making it so big?
Um, it- it's cool if it works, but the only thing, uh, if they do what they did, I don't know if it was last time or the time before, is when they literally just had, like, eight cameras g- on the screen at one time.
If they can do that again and just kind of let, like, the commentary team generally discuss, like, what's going on instead of like-
Right
... "Hey, this is happening at this second," like, I think-
Like, call out specific things that are happening, yeah.
I think that works better because you understand the chaos instead of, like, you see Excalibur like, "Oh, he's pulling him up for a suplex.
Oh," and then they cut and it's somebody doing a leg drop-
Right.
[laughs]
... off, off the bar.
It- or, you know what I mean? Like, I think they almost have to do, especially with the extra people now, the everything going on the screen at once, and you're just getting, like, "This is why you watch AEW.
This is Stadium Stampede," blah, blah, blah.
Yeah, like, can you believe it? Like, stuff like, yeah, as opposed to-
Yeah
... because that's my concern with it is these matches are hard to follow-
Yeah
... on your own, right? When there's, you know, 10 guys, and now there's 14 or something.
So, like, you're right, they kinda just have to, like, follow the general feel of the match as opposed to calling actual things.
And, like, if people disappear for a while, just, like, let them disappear for a while.
Yeah.
