KelsonHOST
41:58
have no clue what you're talking about.
ValPANELIST
41:59
Well, I'm talking about the Elite, of course.
ValPANELIST
42:02
That's what I'm talking
KelsonHOST
42:03
about.
KelsonHOST
42:03
And by the Elite, you're talking about the Young Bucks and Kenny?
ValPANELIST
42:06
Yes.
ValPANELIST
42:07
The original.
ValPANELIST
43:34
He's in Japan right now.
Chris Anthony LopezGUEST
45:33
I want it.
Chris Anthony LopezGUEST
45:34
I still hope maybe one day if, it's The New Day versus The Elite.
Jamie CavazosHOST
45:40
Oh, wow.
Chris Anthony LopezGUEST
45:40
Kofi Kingston, Big E Langston, and, um, and Xavier Woods against Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks.
Chris Anthony LopezGUEST
46:50
But I w- I always thought Austin was a underrated worker.
Jamie CavazosHOST
46:54
Yeah.
Chris Anthony LopezGUEST
46:55
So Austin Creed, Kenny Omega, uh, I know we'll get that, but my real answer, my r- one of my real dream matches is The Elite versus The New Day, 3v3.
Jamie CavazosHOST
47:03
Wow.
Joe TownerHOST
54:27
Any other famous wrestlers from Kansas? No.
Joe TownerHOST
54:35
Paul, any Kansas wrestlers? The Elite.
Joe TownerHOST
54:43
The Elite.
Joe TownerHOST
54:44
No, incorrect.
Joe TownerHOST
54:45
Sorry.
Michael HamflettHOST
2:20
One for the next...
Michael HamflettHOST
2:21
For the second we had, like, we had Punk and the Elite for the first half of the decade, and then as is often the case in wrestling, the sequel is inferior greatly to-
Michael SidgwickHOST
2:28
Yes
Michael HamflettHOST
2:28
...

9 MINS LATER

Michael SidgwickHOST
11:16
Yeah
Michael HamflettHOST
11:16
... as like, uh, what...
Michael HamflettHOST
11:20
If St- if Tony Khan, if The Elite made AEW to make wrestling better, and if Tony Khan did it for one reason, it was to bring his favorite wrestler, Phil Brooks, back to wrestling, it's kind of mission accomplished in that moment, isn't it?
Michael SidgwickHOST
11:30
Yeah.
Gareth MorganHOST
6:36
Right, back to this one.
Gareth MorganHOST
6:37
Number four, Hangman versus The Elite.
Gareth MorganHOST
6:39
There were many enjoyable feuds in the early days of AEW.
Gareth MorganHOST
6:43
Chris Jericho and The Inner Circle being taken down by Jon Moxley, and the incredible tag reign of Hangman Page and Kenny Omega both yielded compelling television.
Gareth MorganHOST
6:54
But it was the aftermath of that particular tag team which would provide AEW with its breakthrough story for the ages.
Gareth MorganHOST
7:01
Adam Page was a member of The Elite as AEW first aired, but he had none of the international recognition of his teammates.
Gareth MorganHOST
7:07
His anxious millennial cowboy story had him mask his inferiority complex with alcoholism, for which he was kicked out of The Elite.
Gareth MorganHOST
7:15
His personal demons refused to allow him to see his own ability, and more crucially, that he had friends in his corner in the shape of lovable misfits, The Dark Order.
Conrad ThompsonHOST
47:48
So we talked about, uh, the influence that FTR had on you guys.
Conrad ThompsonHOST
47:51
Of course, The Elite was really-
Austin GunnGUEST
47:54
Ooh
Conrad ThompsonHOST
47:54
...
SP3HOST
42:28
Dave Meltzer rating this match-up six and a half stars, the highest-rated match-up, uh, next to Okada versus Omega 4 from 2018.
SP3HOST
42:37
Post-match, you have Ospreay embraced and hugged Omega, and before helping him to the back with the rest of The Elite- We were gonna start with Rich this time.
SP3HOST
42:47
Rich, what was your overall thoughts on AEW All In London, New Level debut, Mercedes winning the big one, and of course, the finale with Ospreay and Omega killing it inside Wembley Stadium? What did you think about All In this year?
Rich LattaGUEST
43:04
I thought, um, AEW All In 2026 was a vibes masterpiece with a couple super matches on top, and then just handling everything else around it extremely well, starting with that New Level debut, as you mentioned.
Tony THOST
28:10
clarify something important that the next match is technically the final official match of fighter fest there will be another match afterwards but that one isn't sanctioned So we get on to match five.
Tony THOST
28:25
We've got Be The Elite versus the Lucha Brothers and Lorado Kid.
Tony THOST
28:31
Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson versus Penta, Ray Phoenix and Lorado Kid.
Tony THOST
28:36
Now, Lorado Kid is out first and I've never seen him wrestle before.
Tony THOST
31:05
Eventually we get something I'll recognise.
Tony THOST
31:08
Kenny Omega and Penta face-to-face.
Tony THOST
31:11
Is this a callback to All In? Another dream match potentially on the cards in the future? Penta slowly removes his gloves, tosses it to the referee, and then zero, murder, right in Kenny's face, and they start battering each other with right hands, from there the match becomes absolutely madness, the elite isolate Lerato kid, Nick hits a cutter, Kenny follows with a released German, Eventually, Penta gets a tag and runs wild.
Tony THOST
31:43
Superkicks, co-break style attacks.
DJAUDIENCE
46:20
think that they should have waited on that.
DJAUDIENCE
46:21
I think that they should have did something a little more different, maybe like I don't know, because I feel like when the Bucks lost and Adam Cole, it's like they didn't, it feels like the Elite won.
DJAUDIENCE
46:31
It didn't feel like they lost a beat or anything.
DJAUDIENCE
46:34
It's just like, they all, you know, were celebrating.
Joel DonnellAUDIENCE
48:45
And then he went on to talk about, you know, what are the two reasons why he wanted to come to AEW.
Joel DonnellAUDIENCE
48:52
And he said, the main one is because of other wrestlers like, you know, jungle boy and Jurassic express, the people who have been here from day one to really build up this brand and make it, you know, a true alternative to WWE that they said, he said that so many other wrestlers have been watching AEW and seeing the rise of how they're, they're taking a lot of these young talents, who wouldn't be used in other promotions, and really giving them a push, and they're living up to it.
Joel DonnellAUDIENCE
49:17
And then he said his second reason is that because he's a wrestler, and he's ready to wrestle, and he said that he wants to show the elite and make sure that they are truly elite.
Joel DonnellAUDIENCE
49:26
And so he gave a couple teases as far as facing some of the guys in the elite, but he did keep it short, and it was a great connection with the crowd.
Tony THOST
57:45
Ray Phoenix has got...
Tony THOST
57:47
He must have giant hands because the way he hits someone with the chops and the slaps, you can hear those in the... rafters everything starts breaking down the lucha brothers start working together then the books take over quick tags consistent movements working penta's arm keeping phoenix away they're combining old school tag team for psychology with all this modern athletic stuff and i really like that they remind me slightly of teams like the rockers from when i was younger upset you know it's much quicker and much more athletic eventually the books uh miscommunicates penta gets the opening tags to ray phoenix and ray phoenix goes absolutely mental he's using every part of the ring running the ropes jumping between them or it can run and then i cut it one two uh no no three there even the crowd can't believe it he was a three and neither could I at the time you know springboarding off the ropes and everything Ray Phoenix you know he was insane the match goes into like basically another level here and sorry yeah and uh penta gets tags in back in and starts unloading more massive chops more serum there does uh matt responds eventually nicks gets uh tagged in and goes crazy clotheslines kick through the ribs face buster moonsault to the outside of the ring and after all that he just stares into the camera so that's real good aura there from uh Nick Jackson, the Cram Childs, the Elite, the Elite.
Tony THOST
59:28
And both books lock the Lucha Brothers into tandem sharpshooters.
Tony THOST
59:34
Again, this just a high-flying.
