Ep. 21 Jazzy T and RJ Williams visit RIT Certified's newly renovated space to explore the workforce development strategies powering the next generation of modern manufacturing employees for Buffalo…
RJ WilliamsHostquestion,

was how are you communicating with other organizations? Because it seems like there's a lot of MCC has a workforce.
And, you know, we think RIT certified can kind of, pun definitely intended, be the conduit to all these conversations.
So one of the things I know Rosalie is really proud of and I want to make sure she gets a chance to talk a little bit about it is we developed a skill summit that we're going to kick off in September.
government agencies, nonprofits, workforce, community colleges together to try to talk about these challenges that our region is facing and make sure that those conversations aren't just happening in the hubs, but that they're happening across those industries.
So the Skills Summit is going to be our first event that we have this year.
And it's meant to bring employers and community organizations together to specifically address how technology is impacting the workforce and what employers can do to really make sure that they are always on the cusp of state-of-the-art technology and that their workforce is following along with that.
So for the first summit, we have chosen a very timely topic to kick that off, which is AI.
And they are all dabbling a little bit as organizations, but also as individuals.
And what RIT Certified is bringing to the table is also something where we can have a conversation on AI.
How can we really, what is happening inside the companies and have leaders communicate with one another and what are they struggling with? And ultimately, what this does is it helps R2Certified to build products, to build relationships.
workshops to build courses, training, online training, whatever it may be, to really help organizations do the next thing.
Is that something that relates to governance or is that something that relates to how do I become proficient in using AI in my day-to-day work? So we're kicking off these workshops right now.
