It was, I didn't feel like I could make it for myself like I do now yet, because I couldn't get the word out like you can now.
So I was like, "Oh, we, we've gotta just find, um, like a company to work with or work for that, like, has that path."
Do you feel like you always got like these little bits of insight like that you kind of knew what you needed to do next?
Or did you have moments of confusion where you had no idea how to get to the next step?
I mean, I don't think I always knew what the next step was or anything, but like in my mind in the beginning, it was, it was pretty c- clear and focused on like, "We've gotta be doing education." Like that is the way to do it.
So even when we were in the salon, it was like me and a group of hairdressers that I still like am in connection with now, like we were planning photo shoots, we were like doing models, like just doing everything we could possibly do, entering competitions, you know, anything that was like more than just a salon.
Yeah, I mean, it, it was exhausting, but I, I also think I was incredibly motivated, and I was young, and I had energy, and I, I would say things like, "I don't get hungover," you know? Like [laughs] you know, whatever-
Yeah, I think oftentimes like if I'd a had what I have right now mentally in my 20s, I'd have been unstoppable.
