So here at Massey University and also in partnership with other institutions across the country, we've been looking for some years at what Georgia State University is doing, has done in the past.

We're also really deeply connected to the SEA Pumalela network in South Africa.

So my point is, you know, connecting ecosystems of learning

My mom was a teacher.

And when I was an assistant DA and district attorney, I was a adjunct professor at Georgia State University, first at undergrad and then in the law school.

And I got an opportunity, I wasn't even searching for it, to be a professor full time.

And it's always been something in the back of my mind.

25 years later, we remember the lives and the families of those lost on 9-11.

And as we remember 9-11, for many of us, it was, where were you when you heard? But for a whole generation now, it's, how did you learn about the attacks? Who taught you? Georgia State University history professor Larry Grubbs teaches the attacks as part of his American history course.

We recently chatted about how the terror attacks are now history and what we can learn from them.
