Well, let's get into some draft recap here.

So we have a little distance, like we kind of hinted at from the top.

We actually have signing figures to report out.

So we'll try and do a little bit of that along the way with what we know and reflect a little bit on who the twins got and how those folks strengthen their system.

So we'll start at the very top of the draft.

Twins had, of course, the number three overall pick.

After all the conjecture, after all the speculation.

We pretty much went chalk at the top, right? Rock Talowski goes number one to the White Sox.

Grady Emerson goes number two to the Tampa Bay Rays.

Twins have Von Lackey sitting there at three.

They do not get cute.

They do not overthink it.

Can we just say from now on that we should expect the twins to take the consensus best player if they're picking at the top? Twins take Georgia Tech catcher Von Lackey.

Jeremy, about 10 days down the road now, your reaction to... probably the twins brand new number two prospect and his top 30 prospect in baseball being added to the system.

Yeah.

I think it's the same today as it was draft day.

Right? Like, like you said, don't get cute, do the right thing.

And they did the news this morning that it's the second highest bonus in baseball history until

Emerson, at least

until Emerson signs.

But I mean, you're talking not, it was at almost nine point, whatever million.

it's a huge, it's a huge investment, right? Like he would be one of the higher paid players on the major league team.

If that was his, his annual salary, right.

Bucks and Lopez, Ryan.

I mean, there might be a couple more that are up there, but 10 million is a significant amount, but they did the right thing.
