141. After Jaxon Wiggins, Who Are the Cubs' Top Pitching Prospects?

But before we do that, let's real quick hitter on what we saw in South Bend this week.

Predominantly, Kane Kepley was insane.

But on both, uh, on Saturday the South Bend Cubs put up 24 runs.

On Thursday they put up 25 runs, and I think in between that they put up, what, nine I think-

... uh, in the game in between.

Yeah.

Uh, just an incredible offensive output for the South Bend Cubs over this week, which was hilarious that Max Toma was back on the call on the radio broadcast filling in for BK and Tyler, uh, over there.

He was making some comments about, "Hey, like I, I returned back to minor league baseball-"

Good luck.

Yeah

... and this is what happened." So yeah, it's been insane down there or up there in South Bend.

And very nice that it came against a Brewers affiliate too.

So, you know, we, we ha- we go into a Cubs Brewers series this week with, uh, only you and I thinking about the trash talk we have from the high A dominance that, that occurred [laughs] in the minor leagues.

Yeah.

The, uh, hopefully, hopefully the Cubs also put up 20 runs twice.

I think it was, what, 70, like 76 runs over a six game or a five game, five game, uh, set.

I, I did not see what the, on Sunday, what the South Bend Cubs did today.

No, it got canceled.

Oh, well then [laughs] there you go.

Series, uh, where I think the lowest amount of runs scored was six.

I'll take that for the big league Cubs for sure.
