My answer is Brandon Birdsell, who missed the entire year this year coming back from elbow surgery.

And I just I still believe in Brandon Birdsell.

Whenever he takes that mound, I think he's going to be really good.

whenever that happens and whatever form that looks, I think that he's going to be able to manipulate, manipulate pitches despite the movement or the velo that he comes back with.

And so I'm a big believer in Brandon Birdsell until the day he is no longer in this organization.

I think that depending on what the Cubs do with Cole Franklin, I think he's a potential option as rotation depth down in Iowa.

We're expecting Brandon Birdsell to be back this offseason and back next year.

At that point, he can serve as major league starting pitcher depth.
