Hans-Jakob SchindlerHostSo for those who not yet really listened to any of the episodes or don't know who we are, just a couple of sentences of introduction of CEP and our key project, ARCHER.
Uh, the Counter Extremism Project is a transatlantic, fully privately funded, nonpartisan advocacy organization and think tank that looks at all aspects of ideologically motivated violence.
So we look at the entire spectrum of ideologies from right-wing extremism, which will be at the center of today's discussion, all the way, of course, to Islamic extremism and terrorism at the other end of the spectrum, and anything that is in between.
One is the prosecution and rehabilitation of foreign terrorist fighters.
The second one is anything to do with online or the regulation of online systems and platforms.
And the third one is a technical issue that focuses on counter-extremism and counter-terrorism financing.
As our major project, we started in, um, January 2025 to build up and establish a new center focusing again on all aspects of ideologically motivated violence, but in particular transnational antisemitism with our ARCHER project.
ARCHER stands for Auschwitz Research Center on Hate Extremism and Radicalization, and it's located in Auschwitz in the house of the former commandant of Auschwitz, Rudolf Höss.
If any one of you have seen the movie Zone of Interest, that house and the neighboring house, um, we've bought, um, as an organization and are building up a center there.
And we have a couple of very interesting exhibitions at the moment going on.
One looking at the question, what happens if science is done without conscience, and the other one looking at the harmful as- aspects of propaganda.
