106. Jeff Treppel talks Sci-Fi, Influences & Waypoint Vol. 1

So, um, I wanted to ask, right, sounds like, 'cause sounds like your sort of coming of age is in the '90s.

Like, we're not too far in age, but, uh, when all of those things were coming out, I was, like, relying on my parents to, like, buy that for me or sit me in front of the TV or, or what have you, right? But I'm curious as to what it's like to sort of be coming of age in the '90s and 2000s and, like, I don't know.

Like, I remember Blockbuster, right? But I wasn't old enough to, like, go to Blockbuster and rent a movie by myself, but I'm curious as to, like, what that sort of that experience does for your taste.

It's Batman." Right?

Right, right.

So when I was, when I was growing up, it was the time of, like, we didn't have Blockbuster.

We had an independent video store.

Mm.

So they had...

So you'd walk in there, and, like, they had the horror section.

It had...

And you'd s- you know, I was...
