Connor, Adrian, and Kaylyn break down the seventh Scream film with a rare kind of honesty: one of them came in expecting a disaster and ended up loving it, one was nervous it would ruin a favorite…
Oh man, I was nervous about this one.
I really freaking was.
I mean, reading all the trivia for the other movies, and a lot of them said, especially whenever we got to the 4th, the fourth movie had said it was the lowest ranking scream movie in the franchise until the seventh one came out.
And I was like, no, that sucks.
And I was so mad about that.
And I was, I was super nervous about watching it.
Cause I was like, ah, man, you know, my worst fear is coming into a movie that I, in a franchise that I love finding out that it sucks, you know? And, um, Well, we watched it.
I laughed hysterically watching Kalen jump on the furniture.
Uh, like she, she got up from sitting on the couch and she was laying down and then she sat up and then she was doing this weird pose.
And then she, she was sitting on the arm of the couch and she was standing on the arm and then she was standing where she was supposed to be sitting.
And, you know, and then I was like, I kept looking at her and then she, she finally just got up and started pacing.
I'm like, you need to pace over there.
Like you're getting in the way of my movie.
And, um, So that was funny, but I liked it.
I liked every bit of this movie.
I don't know whatever, like I could see some of the things that people bitched about.
Don't get me wrong.
It's not like I'm watching this with some rose colored glasses, but man, the, the thrills in this movie, the, the, the art style, the directing, I thought it was, I thought it was freaking phenomenal.
And so I'm, I'm very high praise on this.
What about you, bud?
I was like you when I, I had, I had planned to go see this in theaters with my sister, her husband, my nieces.
Cause they, I think I've told you before that like they threw the, the scream themed birthday party and they're just at anything ghost face scream.
