Roger L. Jackson

It was directed by Wes Craven.

It stars Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, David Arquette, Roger L. Jackson, Kevin Patrick Walls, David Booth, Skeet Ulrich, Rose McGowan, Jamie Kennedy, Matthew Lillard, and Drew Barrymore.

It's about the small town of Woodsboro, California, where a masked killer known as Ghostface begins murdering high school students, and a group of friends must use their knowledge of horror movies [laughs] to unmask the killer.

That's, that's not inaccurate, I guess, at the end, but it's, there's only one that uses their knowledge of horror movies to kind of work through that.

And

actually, guys, we can't forget Roger L. Jackson, the original Ghostface.

Hello, Sidney.

We can't forget Wes Craven either.

It was gnarly.

I'm gonna give Roger L. Jackson a lot of credit here too.

It, I love that he can play Ghostface, but he can also play other people playing Ghostface, which I think is fun.

He does it a lot, uh, in the later movies.

I don't know.

Um, so we get our first Ghostface call here.

I, you know, love to hear friend of the show, Roger L. Jackson again.

I don't love, however, him bringing up New York just for the audience because it's not the same Ghostface killer.

Mm-hmm.

You know? But you can so tell when she's being quizzed by Ghostface that it's two voices, you know? I mean, they sound the same, they're both Roger Jackson, but still you can say that they're kind of, you can tell from the interchange that they're kind of having a dialogue among themselves at the same time as they're talking to Casey.

Mm-hmm.

So you know they're both on the line somehow.

Yeah.

And shout out to Roger Jackson as the voice, as always, of Ghostface.

We have to mention him every time we do a Scream movie 'cause you don't have Scream without him, I don't think.

It's true.

Uh, they were both the bomb in Phantoms as it turns out.

And the last person, the last star of this movie I wanna talk about is Roger L. Jackson.

The question isn't who am I? The question is where am I?

Well, that's the answer to your trivia question, who else is in all seven movies? It's n- it's, it's, uh, uh, Gale Weathers and Roger L.

You are correct, sir.

Not to be confused with Donald G. Jackson, the director of Hell Comes to Frogtown and The Legend of the Rollerblade 7.

This is Roger L. Jackson, the voice of Ghostface.

I love that all of his lines were not taped, but they were said live to the other actors to get their realistic onscreen reactions to this voice that he has.

okay, okay, because I was trying to track that.

You have a great narrator throughout, Roger L. Jackson, who many of you will probably know.

If you look him up, you'll go, oh yeah, that guy.

His voice throughout this is very silky and it elicits that fall creepiness that you want in this record.

Um, I thought this was cool.

Drew Barrymore and Neve Campbell did not meet Roger L. Jackson, the actor who played the voice, before shooting commenced.

Uh, when they are talking on the phone with the killer, they are actually talking to him, uh, for the first time.

In fact, none of the cast met him.
