Mark Evans

...

Neve Campbell, is married to Police Chief Mark Evans, uh, played by Joel McHale, in a part that was, uh, apparently or originally supposed to be Patrick Dempsey returning from Scream 3, but he was busy, so they recasted at the last minute.

Okay.

Um-

In December of 2025, we released a script called The Final Scream.

So the final Scream, it is about Sidney Prescott's life as though she would have been married to Mark Kincaid instead of Mark Evans.

So it was important to me that this script came out before the real Scream 7, so that way Mark Evans can live as the true husband of Sidney.

But, you know, Radio Silence unfortunately introduced and confirmed that Mark Kincaid was her husband in Scream 5.

And Joey built his scripts, his first two scripts on that.
