Hazonia, as we all know, was a lottery pick with the Magic 10 years ago, played in the NBA for four and a half, five seasons.

And then after it not really working out for him, his first go around here in the States, he went overseas and became the player that many thought he would be when the Magic drafted him in the first round years ago.

Regardless of if you know who Hazonia is or what you know about Hazonia, I think the version that the Cavs will see this upcoming season will be a lot different than anyone could expect.

While Hazonia didn't have a ton of success his first go-around, his last five years overseas, well six technically, he's turned into the type of player that I feel any NBA team, would love to have on their roster at 6'9", 6'8", at least.

He can do so many things on both sides of the ball that, at the very least, he can be an impactful bench guy for 15 minutes a game that will keep the defense honest and also be able to play some versatile defense.

If you remember last season, before the trades, after the trades, in the playoffs, It seemed like once the Cavs had to really get into their bench pieces and have them on the court, creation went down the drain and the Cavs just didn't have many guys that could really put the ball on the floor, attack defenses.

And I think his own is going to be a huge help with that, with this defense or with the bench unit this season, not only can he shoot the three at a very high clip and pretty much get a clean shot off whenever he wants, he can really put the ball on the floor.

He's not just your average catch and shoot white guy that a lot of probably a lot of people probably think he is just because of what he looks like and him being a Euro player.

He is a guy that can put the ball on the floor, create for others, get open looks for others.

And his defense is, I think, going to be a lot more impactful than many believe.

Just his size alone is going to give the Cavs maybe not what they got from Dean Wade Foley.

But close enough defensively as far as versatility goes that what he brings on offense compared to Dean Wade is going to be a huge upgrade for this Cavaliers team.

So the Cavs will have a solid month to see what they have in Hazonia before having to make that decision.

I think Hazonia will be a mainstay on this Cavaliers roster this season and be a big piece off of the bench.

If he can shoot the ball like he has many years in Europe at about a 38% clip from three, create a little bit for others and play at least solid defense, that's a very impactful depth.
