Jrue Holiday

I don't have his stats pulled up in front of me, but he's playing well.

And I just think, you know, with Ja being gone and Drew Holiday being that old, you just go pick up Scoot Henderson and ask questions later.

Yeah, I'm with that one.

I'm going to toss you guys two quick ones.

Donovan Klingin, solid, right, with everything that he has.

Off the bench, they bring Robert Williams, Drew Holiday.

Like, you're kind of set.

Scoop Henderson has been the biggest disappointment.

So he's around where Jamal Murray is.

Drew Holiday, five attempts at 33% and Scoot Henderson and all that.

Donovan Klingin taking two a game.

He's shooting 50% as well.

But that's the kind of dude he is.

He's like a mini Drew Holiday slash Kyle Lowry in that regard.

He doesn't care who's in front of him.

He doesn't care that it's Luka Doncic, the leading scorer in the NBA, that's absolutely been lights out.

He's not shooting particularly well yet, but he's had some really good moments.

But the guys who are kind of driving their success were Denny Avdia, Toumani Kamara, Ja Morant, Drew Holiday, and Donovan Klingin in a variety of different ways.

Ja Morant is out, so they have some things to figure out from a minutes perspective.

With that, although Scoot Henderson, pretty easy to just pop in and take over, and he was the guy who started in this last game and looked pretty good.

And it wasn't just 50.

He had 50 on Drew Holiday.

He was shifting Drew Holiday, man.

Miles Turner needs a new home.

Where should he go? Golden State.

But they are certainly different because they've got Damian Lillard playing now.

And there'll be a different challenge because, you know, obviously you still have Denny Avnia there and Drew Holiday.

And, you know, it is a Jonathan Klingin who seems to give Jokic a little bit of trouble.

they got some interesting players on that team, and it'll be very fascinating to me to watch this Denver Nuggets team play them because they are, quote-unquote, not as good as the Denver Nuggets, but they are good enough for them to actually, I don't know, put in requisite effort that matches what Portland's going to bring.

Some of it is by circumstance, and I do think, and I'm going to be looking for more information.

You're speaking of no more information.

I'm going to be looking to see if that continues tonight because Drew Holiday is a good perimeter defender.

He's advanced in age, but he's still a good defender.

Yeah.

I mean, especially like, like we said, with how good Dame is looking offensively, let alone his, his being the best defender on a team that also has drew holiday and too many Camara.

Yeah.

Yeah.

He forces up a bad shot.

Things like that can certainly play a factor in this.

Especially when you've got such other strong defenders and it's like, okay, do I want my best guy to go one-on-one against Drew Holiday? My second best guy to go one-on-one against Tumani Kamara? Do I want to drive to the room against Donovan Klingin? Or should I just throw it to another guy to do a spot-up drive against Damian Lillard?

Yeah.

But they still have Scoot Henderson.

They still have Drew Holiday.

They still have Rob Williams.

They still have Donovan Klingin.

Let him do that.

But Jamal Murray needs to be under control this game because of the depth that they have.

And even without John Morant, they still have Dane, they still have Drew Holiday, and they still have Scoot Henderson.

They have guards that can play at an extremely high level, and Denver doesn't have that.
