Hour 2 of Cardle & Woolley, for October 9. In this hour... we're tearing into Abdul El-Sayed’s ridiculous debate dodges up in Michigan and breaking down why the GOP is actually surging in swing-state…
Sherry SylvesterGuestJim CardleHostThe talk line, uh, question of the day for Talk 1370, the right choice about the execution of Milad Nadal Hasan is, uh, will you watch it? And should children see it? And should potential Islamic terrorists see it? Which I think that third part is kinda ridiculous because they love being martyrs so many, so much of the time with suicide bombings and all that sort of thing.
This needs to be pay-per-view, and the proceeds go to the people who are directly affected by the attack.
Now, as, um, as we, uh, anticipate November the 3rd and what is coming up, and everybody's saying it's gonna be a blue wave for the Democrats, CNN stat guru Harry Enten, uh, is all over the map.
CNN data person, Harry Enten, pointed out an important race that Republicans are winning before the midterms, and that's voter registration.
Enten saying Republican ranks have multiplied remarkably while Democratic registration has stagnated.
The relative health of the Republican Party, at least in terms of party registration, is pretty gosh darn good, declared Enten.
The gains are reflected in traditional swing states like Arizona, Nevada, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania, which all increased GOP membership by four to eight points in registration margins since the first midterm under Trump eight years ago.
All right, now, having said that, the Republicans are registering more people than the Democrats in the swing states, okay? We'll give Enten that.
But now let's go to his latest revelations, which don't look so good for the Republicans.
Breaks down the polling showing Democrats making gains among 2024 Trump voters in key Senate races and key House races.
27 days to go until the midterm elections, and as we've been reporting this morning, some Republican insiders are starting to tell our reporters they are worried about the possibility of a bloodbath in the midterms, major losses.
And one of the problems seems to be that the calls, as it were, the calls for concern are coming from within the building.
Problems on the home front for the president.
