I mean, before GE, Rockefeller, Croteville, you were part of Cornell's 1988 Ivy League championship football team.

I mean, where did your fascination with leadership and high-performing teams really begin?
It was all about, uh, first service to others, uh, education, being part of a, of a team.
And when you're the youngest of, uh, of four boys, sometimes it feels like you have four fathers.
As a matter of fact, you know, my brothers and I, you could throw any topic out and say, where would mom and dad come down on this? And we would almost 100% nail it.
And I would say that was frustrating in the moment, right? Because they were pretty strict and pretty focused, had high standards, but priceless over time.
Because I think I go back to that predictability and that moral compass on on right and wrong and how do you serve others and be a good teammate.
And I would say, you know, one of the themes of my life is being part of very high-performing institutions.
And I kind of am a junkie for the adrenaline of high performance environments, even to this day.
