Okay, church.
Our teaching for our first service this morning is titled, Groaning in Hope.
So right off of the hills of all of that suffering that we went through last week, we have now advanced to a state of groaning.
We're moving along church.
And it's not like I'm making this up.
Right? This is how it's captured within the Scriptures.
But the good news is, we will continue to advance, just like our title suggests, groaning in hope.
Do we see that? But we have to get past this groaning from within in order for us to see the real beauty of the sureness of our hope that we can all outwardly express.
especially as believers.
Because it knows us, and He constantly shows us this reality.
And when I'm talking about going straight through the Bible, that doesn't mean that we can't deviate, have our own devotional times and other topics that we look up.
No, that's not what I'm saying.
That's fine.
But we need to be very careful that we do not only search for topics and study topics that we like.
Are you following me church? Because what we will find out is that life does not operate on our motivational desires.
But there is a sure hope that we can rely on while we navigate through all of these pains.
So, with the Lord's permission, we are going to review where we left off last week.
Then we're going to expound on our text.
And we're going to look into active ways that should help us deal with present pain.
