MAGA Mondays: Trump Goes on a Bizarre, Manic Posting Spree

Um, it's just hard to choose what to start with, because so much happened this weekend.

I'm gonna ask you, 'cause we've talked about it a couple times, so I don't wanna dwell too much on it.

Uh, but one thing I haven't really gotten is, um, how the MAGAverse felt about Trump's truly awful, truly awful White House Correspondents, uh, Dinner speech.

It's awful i- in a couple ways.

One was it was just really, like, horrible humor.

Like, just absolutely atrocious jokes.

Um, one...

A couple of which he had to sort of explain, which is never a good thing.

Uh, a couple of which he just sort of admonished his, his speech writers [laughs] which is also not a good thing.

Uh, but then there was also just the nastiness of it, you know, being mean and, and awful to Kaitlan Collins, and we'll get to that in a little bit.

Uh, just being nasty to people in the room.

Felt really uncomfortable.

I wasn't there.

Anyways, I've not seen if, uh, the, you know, the Benny Johnsons of the world thought it was epic, mic drop.

Uh, but you would know.

Yeah.

I mean, I think we're in this interesting position right now in MAGA media where, and we've talked about this before, but where, like, when something bad happens to Trump or he flops or something, the majority of people just kind of ignore it.

Like, they just won't engage with it.

Yeah.

Um, and they just are like, "All right.

What's the latest lib freakout we can focus on instead?" Um, and I, I think we kind of saw something similar.

You know, this one really snuck up on us.

I remember last week where we're like, "It's Friday?" Um-
