Albanian Americans

All right.

Cenk, first and foremost, uh, I'm a first-generation Albanian American.

I was born here because my family fought against communism in Albania.

That's how I ended up here.

This is not a protest or a pushback against America.

This is a pushback against corruption and backdoor deals that are done through oligarchs and prime ministers and people doing favors for each other, and we have these problems within our own country.

I just wish, as a first-generation Albanian American, my fellow Americans would wake up to the type of corruption we have in our country, 'cause I used to think we were really good until I, I, you know, I was naive as a young person.

I used to believe the movies, and the president would, you know, they would show the, in the movie, the president, there's a tsunami coming.
