My customer service and assistant went away to Bali for a week, and I was like, "I'll do customer service." After, like, two days of 16 hours in the inbox, I was, like, saying the same thing 80% of the time, and I was like, "Surely there's gotta be a better way." Went down the rabbit hole of Claude and Claude Cowork and Claude Code, and then OpenClaude, and she came back and 80% of her role was outsourced.
And she's like, "What am I doing? Am I made redundant?" I'm like, "No, because you're humble and hungry." She ended up with a pay rise at the end of the day.
Most of the back end of the business now is probably 80% covered or done by AI, supply chain, customer service, finance, bookkeeping, logistics.
