I loved being on stage, I loved being in the school plays, wanted to be an actress.

Did the plays all through middle school.

Then we get to h- high school and my mental health is starting to, starting to dis- deteriorate in a, in a different way than it had before.

And I was watching Jay Leno.

This was probably like 2010 or 2011, and I just had this thought, I don't remember who was on Jay Leno, but I thought n- never in one million years could I put myself in that sort of position and be on a stage like that.

And then the next morning I woke up with the biggest pit in my stomach and just I had developed late onset stage fright from just receiving that episode of Jay Leno-

... and feeling like that, that looks to me like the end of the world.

Like, I can't ever do something like that.

And so for two years after I saw that episode of Jay Leno I didn't get up on stage ever.

I quit all the plays.

It was really sad, because that was stuff that I loved to do.

My mom had to call my, uh, teachers and say, "Don't call on her," because it was liter- I couldn't even answer a question in class.
