Let's start there.
Who wanna, who wanna pop it off?

I think society has set it up so that men have had a lot of reasons to be angry, and women have had a lot of reasons to be in survival mode, and the two don't mix.
Is it society or experiences?
Experiences and society

Black men are already set up to, you know, you fuck up once, you go to jail or something, it's harder for you to get a job, to get out of the thing that probably sent you to jail.

You know? Then the Black women have to hold it down while you're going through that experience, and then when you get out, they're supposed to be there to support you while you're having difficulty finding a job, and resources, and things of that nature.

Granted, we live in an era now where it's more, you know, socially acceptable for you to be an entrepreneur, but you gotta think even when you go...

Like, when you go in the banks and you try to get lending and stuff, that's a question they ask you.

"Are you a felon?" So, you know, I just feel like the way that things are set up systemically, they kinda prevent you from overcoming certain parts of your life, you know, where you may not have done shit all the right way.

And so then it takes c- clear-cut, concise communication for you to be able to be in, you know, in kind of profound understanding with one another, you know? And then people be in survival mode.

Like, people really be struggling, you know? And I think that we have not been taught to have the most fruitful conversations when it comes to, like, overcoming things as a unit.

We're taught that we're supposed to be in survival mode individually, and I think that's kinda where a lot of the conflict derives from, for real.
Shit been fucked up before the gas.
[laughs]
Right.
[laughs]
