Billy WardGuestUh, and Billy, we look at some of the games we saw unfold, and of course, we'll get to the Sunday slate for the most part, but I wanna hit the rewind button all the way back to Thursday.
It's 17-14, and I think the narrative and the storylines are significantly different.
You can handle a loss in the loss column, but you lose your biggest difference maker on the defensive side, and you and I kind of joked that, look, maybe Myles Garrett decided to go on, uh, injured reserve because he was such an afterthought in the game and he had to try and protect his PFF grade.
But the Rams losing Myles Garrett, losing the football game, and now a week from today, they'll take on a Giants team that looked to be a little bit more dynamic offensively than we anticipated coming into the season.
[smacks lips] Yeah, I wouldn't like, you know, press the panic button on the Rams.
So the two teams that, you know, ended up going to the Super Bowls both started 0-1, kind of disappointing performances.
But for the Rams, I think, you know, I, I don't think people should be surprised if you're looking at a team that might be two and three or, you know, three and two at best over the next, next four.
They're gonna need Donald back, and there's been a lot of talk about, on the defensive side of the ball, just what type of cornerbacks they brought in and the style of game they wanna play.
You kinda gotta wonder if that's gonna change, if that was just a one, week one thing against, uh, against Kyle Shanahan, or if that's gonna be the case moving forward because there's definitely some holes in that defense.
